Roof Mount Cargo Box for a 2006 Nissan Xterra with Factory Roof Rack

Question:

I have a 2006 Nissan Xterra with roof mounted rack and flat crossbars. Which cargo box will fit and what do I need to mount it? Thanks for your help.

The Thule Sidekick cargo box is not a fit for the factory roof rack on your 2006 Nissan Xterra but all of the other Thule cargo boxes will fit. I have included a link to them for you. The best box for you is going to depend on how much cargo space you need and what you are going to carry.

All of the boxes will fit without rear hatch interference as well so if you wanted to go with a very large box like the Motion 22, # TH629906, it will fit and not cause interference. You will not need anything else to mount the cargo box, just the box itself. They all come with mounting feet that clamp around the crossbars.
