etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2009 Chrysler Town and Country Does Not Line Up with Frame Holes
Question:
I bought the e98854 hitch for my 2009 Chrysler Town and Country back in July of 2022. I tried to install it but some of the holes do not line up. I can get one side of the holes but the other side does not line up at all. Is there something that I could be doing wrong? Could I have gotten the wrong one?

Expert Reply:
It can be somewhat common for mounting holes to not line up properly when speaking of a trailer hitch like the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98854 which is a fit for a 2009 Chrysler Town and Country. This can be caused by either faulty manufacturing but in most cases the hitch is simply bent during the shipping process. I have attached a help article for you below which goes over everything you need to know to fix this.
