Does The Hopkins Endurance Powered Tail Light Converter Draw Power When The Ignition Is Off?
Question:
Sense this converter is connected directly to the battery for power through its own fuse block is there power being drawn even when the vehicle key is in the off position, as in vehicle not running.
asked by: Gene
Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes, since the Hopkins Endurance Powered Tail Light Converter # HM46370 connects directly to the battery there is power being drawn at all times. The amount of power being drawn is so low it will not affect a vehicle which is normally being used. If this concerns you a Relay Kit # FLX31146 can be added to the power wire and tied into an ignition wire so that it only draws power when the ignition is on.
