Tire Recommendation for 2022 Starcraft Super Lite 232MD Off-Road Travel
Question:
I have a 2022 Starcraft Super lite 232MD travel trailer. Its 5355lbs dry. I want to take it on some dispersed camping on BLM land in Utah and Idaho. What is a good 14 inch tire and rim package for off highway use? This will be a secondary set for rocky and bumpy roads.

According to my research your 2022 Starcraft Super Lite 232MD travel trailer came with ST205/75R14 tires with a Load Range D weight rating.
For your application I recommend going with the Loadstar ST205/75D14 Bias Trailer Tire # AM1ST86 which has a Load Range C (1,760 lbs at 50 psi) that should still be high enough to handle the weight of your 7K GVWR trailer. The reason we are looking at Bias ply over Radial ply is that Bias (the original tire construction type) has a stiffer sidewall so it has a better design for bumpy and uneven roads. Radial tires have more flex in the sidewall which does a better job at dissipating heat so they are better equipped for highway travel.
When it comes to a wheel combo that pairs well for off-road use I recommend the kit # AM3S451 which comes with a black steel wheel that will be easier to clean and keep nice looking compared to other styles and color wheels we carry.
