My car battery is being drained after two hours of towing, can I prevent this. I use the patriot system.

You can indeed prevent your flat towed vehicle's battery from being drained, and what you need is a charge line kit. This will connect directly to your vehicle's 6-way or 7-way plug and get power from your motorhome's 6-way or 7-way plug. The correct part is the following:
- Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25
If your motorhome does not have 12 volt power running to its connector you will need to add one with the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes # RM-156-75.
