Comparing Reese M5, Curt A-25, and Curt Q-25 For 2023 Ram 3500 DRW

I need assistance deciding between three Fifth Wheel Hitches: 1. The Curt A25 2. The Curt Q25 3. The Reese M5 I have a 2023 RAM 3500 DRW Laramie with air suspension to haul an Alliance Paradigm 382RK with the upgraded Independent suspension/hydraulic disc brake option which increases the GVWR of the 5th wheel to 19,800 LBS.

Between the three hitches you're looking at, the Curt A-25 # C16046, Curt Q-25 # C16049, and Reese M5 # RP37FR, for your '23 Ram 3500 DRW I recommend going with the Reese M5.

I like the Jaw-design and articulation the head of the # RP37FR has compared to the Curt design, and find it an easier hitch to latch and unlatch from the king pin which is why I recommend it.

There's nothing particularly wrong with the Curt hitches above, but the Q-25 tends to have a lot of slop due to the spherical bearing it uses, and the A-25 has rubber bushings that tend to wear in adding more slop as well.
