Recommended Replacement Trailer Jack Compatible With The Jack-It 2 Bike Rack

Question:

I have a Lippert Smart Jack on my 2018 Lance trailer. I also have the Jack-it bike rack installed. It will raise the trailer but not lower it. Ive been told to replace it. This is the second one in 5 years and I am reluctant to buy another. Can any of the others jacks such as Stromberg Carlson be used with the Jack-it bike rack?

Yes, it is super annoying that they basically give you no option to replace any worn or damaged parts on their jacks and that a minor repair to another brand is a total replacement for the Smart Jacks # LC643589. Going forward I recommend the etrailer Electric Jack # EJ-3520-BBX since we carry all the replacement parts in the event that anything breaks instead of having you toss the whole unit.

The Jack-It 2 Bike Rack for A-Frame Trailers # LC429756 has 22-1/2" of clearance and the # EJ-3520-BBX is only 20-1/2" tall so you'll have enough room to use both together.
