Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation to Replace OEM Wiring on a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500

Question:

I have 2004 Dodge Ram 2500. No right turn or running lights. I do not have a 4 way connector. I already have a brake controller installed plug and play. Truck has factory wiring for trailer hauling. Is there a kit that I can install to bypass the TIPM even though I do not have a 4 way connector? Thank you

We have a variety of replacement wiring connectors for your 2004 Dodge Ram 2500, like the Pollak # HM40975-11933 for a full replacement, the T-One # 118381 that tees in with a 4-Way, or the Curt # C55504 that plugs in behind the tail lights for power and signals.

From what you're describing it sounds like you're wanting the Curt harness that essentially works outside of the OEM trailer wiring harness.

Please note that while this will allow you to tow a trailer with a 4-Way quite easily, you're still going to have issues with your OEM harness until you get it fixed. You might try checking the fuses and relays related to the trailer wiring harness as well as checking as much of the wiring and connections you can to see if there is anything that needs to be replaced.
