Trailer Hitch Receiver For a 2013 Toyota RAV4 To Carry Up to 4 Bikes Or a Cargo Carrier
Question:
I have a 2013 Rav4 LE and want to go to a hitch bike carrier for easier access and ability to carry my bikes and use a tow rack to carry extra gear. I would be transporting anywhere from 1 most times to 4 bikes looking at the Saris Bones 4 bike hitch or a cooler and beach chairs. Is the CURT class III C13406 a good option or is there a better option for my needs and fit of my car?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13406 is a great option for your 2013 Toyota RAV4 LE. This receiver is made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty. The hidden cross tube helps give it a clean factory look as well. The receiver is rated for up to 350lbs which is plenty to carry your bikes or additional cargo.
You will want to install the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118578 when you install the receiver. This will allow you to add Auxiliary Lights # C53201 behind your bikes or the cargo carrier since they will likely impair the view of your tail lights to other drivers.
