Will Curt Trailer Wiring Harness with etrailer Hitch # e95ZR Cause Hyundai Palisade to Catch Fire

Question:

I am potentially buying a 2023 Hyundai Palisade. I need it to have a tow hitch but with the recalls they no longer come from the factory with them installed. Would adding an aftermarket hitch to a palisade put me back at risk of the same fire problem that they were experiencing?

I just looked up what you were referring to and it looks like there was an issue with the circuit boards of the Hyundai trailer wiring harnesses that was causing them to catch fire...the universal style trailer wiring harnesses we offer for your vehicle do not have this problem like the part # C59236.

For a hitch the etrailer part # e95ZR would be a great option that's mostly hidden and has great towing capacities.
