Can Short Bed 2017 Ford F-250 be Used to Fifth Wheel Tow Camper without Slider Hitch

Question:

I have a 2017 f250 diesel with the factory puck system. 69 1/2 bed. Wondering if the gooseneck system would work for my truck. Concerned about enough cab to fifth wheel clearance while turning. Or should I stick with getting a auto slide fifth wheel hitch. Recommendations would be helpful. Thanks the team at trailer is the best

Most modern RV campers have tapered noses which were designed to allow for turning clearance without requiring sliders. I don't know what camper you have but if you had installed a Goose Box on your camper a gooseneck ball like the part # BWGNXA2061 would work great. If you are unsure still let me know what camper you have and I'll take a look.
