Recommended Cargo Box for a 2017 Acura MDX W/ Factory Crossbars

In search of the highest capacity roof cargo box that will fit on 2017 Acura MDX OEM bars while still being able to open the hatch without restriction.

For your 2017 Acura MDX with factory bars, I recommend going with the Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6357B.

This cargo box I feel gives you the best of both worlds (capacity and size) without breaking the bank. This cargo box can hold a maximum of 16 cubic feet, measures 74-3/4" long x 33" wide x 18" tall, and only weighs 41-lbs for the box itself. When you compare this box to others in it's class you'll notice that you'll either get less capacity, a longer box which isn't ideal in your case, or pay too much.
