What To Do When Your Lippert Leveling Icon Disappears From The Touch Screen

Question:

My lippert lcd screen no longer shows the leveling app. How do I get it back. Also the front Manuel button lever does not turn on.

If the leveling icon has disappeared from the screen then you have a communication loss in the system. This typically is an issue with the canbus connectors on the back of the touch pad for the # LC675817. You can cut power to the system and then remove the touchpad from the mounting bracket to look at the wiring.

You are looking for the red and black wires. Unplug the wires and check the connectors to make sure there are not any broken or pins that have been spread out. Plug the connector back in and restore power. This should restore the leveling icon, if it doesn't you may need to contact Lippert or take the trailer to be serviced.

Since the manual button isn't working either I would go ahead and check the wiring between each component of the system to ensure there isn't a break somewhere causing the loss of communication. You'll also want to ensure that the system has a full 12.75 volts when you're trying to operate it. If not, the system will not properly function. Lack of power is one of the most common issues I've found when troubleshooting this system.

My screen froze on the Myrv touch screen and I rebooted it and lost the leveler icon on the control panel and can’t figure out how to get it back or get to the level controls another way

@Charles Do you have a separate controller for your leveling system or is it only ran through the touchpad? Have you tried disconnecting power to both the touchpad and leveling system to let them both reset and then reapply power? I would also check the voltage for the leveling system to ensure that it has enough power to properly operate and communicate with your touchpad. If you plug into shore power your power center should take over for the battery and would give you enough voltage for the system. It's a bit quicker to plug in rather then go test multiple locations for voltage.

@KevinC I am plugged in the the grid for electric. I have reset both box and powered them up at the same time and there is still no leveling button on the control panel.

@Charles I would test power at the controller # LC304136 to see if your system is even on so that it can communicate with OneControl system. If you have power here then and you can trace the wiring back to the OneControl system as I've seen a few where they're also fused at this point. It could be as simple as a blown fuse. If you have power to system and the touchpad still isn't showing the icon then you'll want to reach out to Lippert and see if there's a software issue that they can correct and get you back up and running.
