Trailer Wiring Recommendation for 2008 Chevy 3500 Cutaway with LED Taillights
Question:
I have a 2008 Chevy 3500 cutaway school bus with separate brake and turn signal lights and combination turn and brake lights. All are LED. The combination lights are easier to access/splice. You indicated that this product is not recommended for LED. What product do you recommend? Thanks.

If the taillights are still the factory connectors like what the Express van would have came with you could use the # 118392 which would plug right inline with them easily. Since this is a cutaway chassis and you have access to the combined lights I would use the # C59236 though. This is a universal style system that can be installed on vehicles with LED lights like what you have and since it draws it's power from the vehicle battery directly you don't have to worry about not having enough amperage draw for trailer wiring.
