Replacement Shank Recommendation for Older Reese V5 Weight Distribution System
Question:
I have an old Reese V5. Id like to replace the shank with one that has more of a drop. Do you have anything that would work? The holes in the shank have a 3/4" diameter and the head of the weight distribution measure 3-3/4" on center.

Thank you for the photo and explanation!
We do have a variety of replacement shanks that will work great for your older Reese V5 weight distribution system. Since you're looking for something with a larger drop I recommend checking out the Curt Replacement Shank # C17124 which has the adjustment holes located further down on the shank.
I'm attaching some review videos for you to check out as well as our list of replacement weight distribution shanks you can filter through on your end as well if you'd like.
