Width of the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam # T3584F-8974 From Brake Flange to Brake Flange
Question:
Is this axle Item # T3584F-8974 82 5/8 to the flange and 74 to the middle of the spring mouth? also the axle that i am needing replaced and to curved. Will this make a difference? Or do I need to find a straight axle.

I went to our warehouse and measured the Dexter Trailer Axle Beam # T3584F-8974. From the spindle side of the brake flange to other brake flange spindle side is 82-3/4". It is also 74" from the center of spring seat to the center of spring seat. This axle having the curve will not affect fitment unless you have something hanging down between the axles it could reach. The slight curve is used on most axles as when it begins to reach its limit a straight axle would normally begin to bend slightly down affecting ground clearance and putting the tires more on the inside edge of the tire.
