Is The Weight Capacity Of A Landing Gear The Capacity Of The Jacks Or The Max GVWR Of The Trailer
Question:
What is the travel speed extension and retraction of the jack legs? Does the 6000lb lift rating refer to the total weight that can be lifted, or the maximum weight of the trailer assuming most of the weight will pivot on the axle? Finally, how much does the entire kit weigh?

The 6,000lb rating of the Lippert Electric Landing Gear Set # LC333964 is the combined weight capacity of the jacks (i.e each jack can support up to 3,000lbs of weight). This is pretty typical since it's only supporting a fraction of the weight, with the majority on the axle(s). It weighs approximately 73lbs.
As for the travel speed, I reached out to Lippert but was unable to get a specific speed rating from them and we haven't had an opportunity to test this landing gear while under a load to determine a speed rating ourselves.
