Replacement Switch For Landing Gear Jacks Not Switching Polarity

Question:

My one right rear power jack isn’t working. When I try the Jack it put power to both wires in the lowering position and none in the lift. The jack itself works properly when jump with a 12 volt battery. So the controller is not switching the polarity. But I’m confused why there is power to both lift and lower at same time when I press the lowering mode??

That's very odd, and the best guess I have is a possible ground issue with the switch on what I assume is landing gear since you mentioned power jack. A bad ground is the cause of numerous funky issues so check to see if you are properly grounded. If it is, since the jack works properly directly with the 12 volt battery then the switch is the issue and can be replaced with the Replacement Switch for Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear # LG-145236.
