Options To Increase The Height Of A 2016 Forest River Wildcat Maxx 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
Hello. Will this suspension lift work for my 2016 Forrest River Wildcat Maxx 5th wheel? My truck is a bit too tall and i need to lift my camper a bit for bed clearance and to level out the camper during towing. Do you have any other suggestions that may work better? Thank You,

The Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit # RR23QX essentially just stacks onto your current hangers to lift your trailer by 1-1/4" or 2-1/4". If you're looking for something that will give you more then there are a few other options available.
Option 1: Cut off your current hangers and have longer ones welded on. This would increase the height based on the increased hanger length.
Option 2: If your axles are above your leaf springs you can use an Over-Under Kit like # K71-385-00 to lift the trailer by the diameter of the axle and the height of the leaf spring stack. The # K71-385-00 is designed for use with 3" diameter axles, we also carry the # K71-384-00, which is designed for use with 2-3/8" diameter axles.
I do want to note that raising the height of your trailer can throw off the stability of the trailer so you'll want to install some crossmembers, like the # MR33WR, to help strengthen the frame of your trailer.
