Question:
Im looking at your Pollak and Hopkins vehicle plug connectors 7 way flat/4 way. Is one a stronger better made connector than the other? Which company would you rate better?

In regards to Pollak and Hopkins, they are both great options. That said, if OEM parts give you any indication of quality then Pollak would be the better choice as they are the OEM for most manufacturer in regards to trailer connectors. Personally, I've had less issues with plug fitment when using the Pollak brand.
If you're looking for both a 4 and 7-way connector, I recommend the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket part # HM40975 which also comes with a mounting bracket as well. This is coincidentally enough the same plug used on my pickups from the factory. It's offered by Hopkins but actually a Pollak product which I hope isn't too confusing. It will plug into a standard connection under the vehicle known as a USCAR.
