Will Curt Class V Trailer Hitch # C15323 Fit a 2001 Chevy Silverado Step Side
Question:
Does this hitch work on the 2001 chevy silverado 1500 step side also? If so any different installation instructions? If not what hitch do you recommend in class 4?

Expert Reply:
Curt trailer hitch # C15323 will fit your step side 2001 Chevy Silverado as long as it has the factory step bumper. It will not fit if it has the roll pan or deep drop bumper. The truck having a step side bed does not affect the fit or the instructions. I have included a link to the instructions for you to view. I have also included a link to a video showing a typical installation.
I also recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416. It comes with a ball mount, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. If you need to add a trailer connector to the truck use # C59236.
