Would Trailer Wiring from Ford Edge Fit 2020 Ford Explorer
Question:
Hi. I bought a hitch and wiring harness for a 2018 Fird Edge SEL. Installed the hitch for a bike rack but never got around to installing the wiring. Now I am upgrading to a 2020 Ford Explorer limited. I need to buy a hitch but was wondering if the wiring for the trailer lights that I have could possibility work on the Explorer. Thanks in advance for checking this out for me.

Trailer wiring from a Ford Edge is not the same as what fits a 2020 Ford Explorer like your Limited model so you would need a new kit that fits your vehicle like with the Curt # C56093 which installs easily by plugging inline with taillights.
For a hitch I would recommend the mostly hidden Curt part # CU78FR which is also priced great and has plenty of towing capacity.
