What Is Included In The OEM Prep Package For A 2021 Ford F-250
Question:
I have a 2021 F-250 HD 6 1/2foot bed. Ive ordered the BWRVK2402 5th wheel rail mounting kit. What is meant by the OEM Prep PKGinch and what is a Puck kit? Thanks

The OEM Prep Package is just a manufacturer package that gives you an in-bed 7-way, like part # C57010, and four "pucks" that allow you to drop puck-style 5th wheel hitches. I've attached a picture below of what the pucks look like to give you a better idea. The system essentially just makes things much easier since it provides a clear bed when not in use and is easy to mount into.
Since there isn't an aftermarket puck system available for most newer trucks base rails like the # BWRVK2402 you purchased are the way to go. The B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3255 would be a great option to go with those rails if you haven't already purchased your 5th wheel hitch. It has an 18,000lb capacity, is 100% American made, and has an easily adjustable design to help get you the correct height to have your trailer ride level.
