For flat towing your 2013 Cadillac Escalade, you will need the following items: base plate kit, tow bar, a set of safety cables, tow bar wiring, and a supplemental braking system. Please check your owners manual and see what procedures that need to be followed for flat towing your Cadillac Escalade EXT.
My research indicates that your Escalade has a curb weight less than 6,000 pounds, so your motorhome is rated appropriately for flat towing this vehicle, and this is the weight rating that I will be using for my recommendations.
For your vehicle, I recommend using the Roadmaster Base Plates # 3154-1. These base plates attach to your vehicle and provide a connection point for your tow bar, and are compatible with all Roadmaster tow bars.
I recommend the Blackhawk 2 Tow Bar # RM-520. It is an all terrain tow bar that is rated for up to 10,000 pounds. It features Freedom Latch system that allows for quick connection and disconnect. It also has built in cable guides.
For a set of safety cables, I recommend the Roadmaster 64 inch Single Hook Coiled Cables # RM-653. These safety cables are rated for up to 10,000 pound capacity.
To provide lighting on your Escalade while being towed, I recommend a magnetic set of tow lights like the Custer # RM-2120 instead. These magnetic tow lights also include a non-scratch magnetic base. These will not require any intrusion to your vehicle wiring, or taillights.
I recommend using the Roadmaster Even Brake System # RM-9400 for a supplemental braking system for you. This is braking system that is inertia-activated, and applies the brakes in your Escalade. It is powered by the battery in your Escalade. The installation of this braking system requires using the Roadmaster Stop light switch # RM-751220. This will activate an alert system in your motorhome to let you know the brakes are being applied in your Escalade.
Additionally for your new Escalade, you might be interested in the Roadmaster Guardian Rock Guard # RM-4000. It is compatible with both the XL base plates and the Falcon 2 tow bar kit that I recommended for you. This is due to the configuration and mounting locations on the crossbar that is used with these two systems, and the crossbar is included with the tow bar.
I have provided links to the products recommended above, several helpful articles that explain the components involved in a flat towing system, as well as a couple of demonstration, and installation videos for your reference.
