Can A ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank/Step Heater Pad Be Covered With Spray Foam Insulation

Technical question: can the Therma Heat heating pads be cover over with insulation spray foam? Thanks,

The ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad w/ Thermostat # 277-000164 isn't going to get hot enough to cause an issue with the insulation spray, but I wouldn't recommend it since it would be a pain to remove in the event that it malfunctions and needs to be replaced.
The manufacturer hasn't tested it but recommends not doing it incase the chemicals in the spray foam could cause any kind of damage to the pad or the wiring.
