Difference Between Redarc Brake Controllers for 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
Could you explain the differences between the 3 Redarc Brake Controllers that you carry. I am looking for a good controller for a 2014 Chevrolet 1500 pickup 4x4

There is essentially two Redarc brake controllers. The Redarc Tow Pro Elite part # RED44FR and the Liberty part # RED24FR which is basically just a slightly stripped down version of the Elite. The Elite has both a time-delayed and proportional setting whereas the Liberty has just the more popular and effective proportional setting.
Proportional means it has a sensor that detects how hard you apply the vehicle brakes and applies a similar amount to trailer brakes automatically. Time delayed means a pre-set amount of braking pressure ramps up over time regardless of braking intensity of vehicle. To me the Liberty is the winner as you get a better price and best features of the Elite. To install either in your 2014 Chevy Silverado all you need ins the install harness # 331-TPH-010 which plugs in under dash.
