Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For A Jayco TrailI have a Jayco 17z dry weight around 3300 ,
Question:
Hi, I have a Jayco 17z dry weight around 3300 , a 2017 Toyota Tundra limited double cab . I don’t know the tongue weight . Looking for a weight distribution system because I have a husky with tension bars , it’s extremely hard to get the bars in and the noise always makes me think it’s installed incorrectly. Thank you for your time

No matter what all weight distribution hitches will make noise when in use. Some will make less noise than others but it will always be there. With you Jayco trailer weighing 3,300 pounds dry the tongue weight will be about 10% of the weight when loaded. I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0600. I like this weight distribution hitch over the others that we offer because they have integrated 2 point sway control that will limit side to side movement, which will provide you with a better performance. The tongue weight capacity for the Fastway hitch is between 250 pounds to 600 pounds so your Jayco trailer will work perfectly for this hitch. The 2-5/16 inch hitch ball # EQ91-00-6100 is sold separately. The Fastway hitch will be a little quieter and will be easier when installing.
If you have any further questions please feel free to reach back out to me anytime and I would be more than happy to further assist you.
