Cable Tire Chain Recommendation for Tire Sizes P245/60R18 and P245/55R19 on a Toyota Highlander

Question:

I just bought this tire chain for my 2008 highlander P245/65R17. It hasnt arrived yet. Will this model fit or can be use to these newer tires of 2014 highlander? Tire specs is listed as P245/60R18 105S and P245/55R19 105S. These tires dont were not in your list of compatible tires with this snow chain. But Im just wondering if it can be use with those newer tires mentioned. Im planning to upgrade. Thanks.

The Glacier Cable Tire Chain, # PW3010C, is compatible with the P245/65R17 tires that are currently on your 2008 Toyota Highlander, however, they are not compatible with tire sizes P245/60R18 or P245/55R19.

The Glacier Cable Tire Chain, # PW2029C, will fit both of the larger tire sizes that you mentioned.

Before using tire chains, I recommend checking your owners manual for tire chain restrictions and procedures. Many vehicle manufacturers will limit the distance and speed your vehicle can travel when using tire chains. I have also attached two FAQ articles on tire chains for you to check out.
