The connection type is solely going to depend on the fittings that are on your stove and flat top grill. Most stoves/grills typically have a flare # 204163 or quick disconnect fitting # 104052-401132 so you'll need to see exactly what you have and measure the size as there are multiple sizes for flare fittings.

As for the regulator, it's going to depend on the whether or not the stove/grill already has an internal regulator and if there already a regulator in-between the propane tank(s) and the where you're connecting to. You won't want to have two regulators in use between the source and appliance.

A lot of travel trailers will typically have two tanks on the front with a dual stage regulator that runs into a manifold somewhere in the trailer and have a separate line running off the manifold that you can hook into (usually with a quick disconnect fitting).

I've attached a link to our propane help articles below but can help you further if you can send me some pictures of the fittings you have and the propane source.
