Does the Roadmaster D-Ring Adapter # RM-035 Work w/ etrailer Tow Bars on a 2021 Jeep Wrangler?
Question:
I was curious to know if the RM035 adapters would fit the e-trailer SD model tow bar? I prefer your tow bar over Roadmaster but still haven’t purchased a tow system, thank you.

I have a solution for you but the Roadmaster D-Ring Adapter item # RM-035, that you referenced, will not work with etrailer SD Tow Bars like item # e74zr. The inner arms where the adapter attaches to it are different from a Roadmaster tow bar that the D-Ring adapter is designed for. They only work with Roadmaster tow bars and there are no other 3/4" D-Ring adapters.
Instead you will want to use the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar item # RM-520. This tow bar has a similar 6,000 lbs capacity and will work perfectly with the Roadmaster D-Ring Adapter item # RM-035. You will also need the RoadMaster Coiled Safety Cables item # RM-643.
I have listed some other parts you will need to flat tow your 2021 Jeep Wrangler below.
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - Blue Ox Patriot 3 Radio Frequency, Portable Braking System item # BLU37TR and 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps item # RM-9332
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
