How Does The 4-Pole Get Power On The Hopkins 7- And 4-Pole Trailer Connector?

I have a 2000 Ford F350 super duty with the factory 7 way and 4 way plug, If I get part #HM40975 does my factory 4 way plug into the back of it or does the 7 way put power to it or is there another connector I have to get because I don’t see how the 4 way plugs into the back of it

Since the 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket # HM40975 is designed to replace the OEM connector on your 2000 Ford F-350 Super Duty, it's going to use the factory combined 4-pole and 7-way wiring harness to power both the 7-way and 4-pole.

This is why you only see one round socket on the back of the bracket.
