Optronics Trailer Clearance Light Similar to AL 91RB that Installs With Smaller Hole Drilled

Question:

I am planning on using a red marker light to mount on my aluminum trailer for a rear side marker. Im considering getting the optronics a91rb with the a91bob mount. The mount will be flush to the surface. Will the right angle pigtail plug fit between the mounting surface and the light or protrude from the bottom requiring clearancing underneath. I would prefer to just drill a small hole for the wiring and not a large hole to clearance for the plug. It appears the other option is to get an al82rb and not use a right angle plug. Thanks for your assistance.

The Optronics clearance light part # AL91RB in all of it's configurations would require a hole to be drilled for a harness like the part # A46PB to install with a grommet like the part # A91BOB. There isn't a way to mount it flush without drilling. If you used the part # AL82RB instead though it would require a much smaller hole be drilled since the entire harness of the other setup gets ran through the hole.
