Does The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76128 Require Trimming Underbody Panel?
Question:
I have a 2020 Honda CRV EX-L. I am interested in Hitch #76128. I understand this hitch does not require cutting the fascia and that it is visible, but want to verify that it maintains the fascia and does not require complete removal of it. Many of the user install pictures do not have the fascia visible so either they forgot to put it back on or they did not have one to begin with.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76128 will not require any trimming of the rear bumper fascia on your 2020 Honda CR-V EX-L. If you have an underbody panel as not all trim levels will, it will require either removal or modification to remain on your CR-V with this receiver installed. The installation instructions linked below from Draw-Tite unfortunately do not outline the removal or trimming of the underbody panel as they did not have it on their test fit vehicle.
