Safest 4-Way Flat Wiring Harness To add on a 2023 Kia Telluride
Question:
Hi there, We recently bought a 2023 Kia Telluride and need to get wiring for a trailer. Apparently the 20-22 vehicles had issues with fires on their wiring harnesses. So im looking for an option that will have protection against that and something that wont void the warranty. Do you have anything that may work? Looking for a 4 pin. Thanks!

The safest way to add a 4-way flat connector on your 2023 Kia Telluride is by using the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT. This kit uses sensors you will wrap around the wiring on your tail lights. The sensors will detect power moving through the wiring to activate the 4-way wiring. Since you are not splicing into any of the factory wiring you will not risk harm to their wiring or void any warranties.
If you are needing a receiver I recommend the etrailer Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # e45ZR. This will provide you with a 2" receiver for a Ball Mount # 989900 or hitch mounted accessories.
