Correct 5th Wheel Base Rails For 2007 Ford F-250 For Reese Brackets RP50082
Question:
I have an older Reese 5th wheel hitch. My rails are 37.5 inches long by 6” wide and the hitch attaches with four bolts, bolted into the tail tops. I bought a 58002 frame kit but after bolting it on the rails are too short to bolt to the brackets. Do I need new rails or is the brackets incorrectly mounted. I mounted them on the outside of the truck frame, should they be on the inside of the frame?
