When installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13240 onto your 2017 Hyundai Tucson the hitch uses quantity (8) M10 x 1.25 bolts. The trailer hitch has a bolt-on installation with no welding required. I like this hitch over the others that we sell because it is manufactured in The USA.
When towing a trailer you will also need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118501. I like this harness over the Curt harness because it has a more reliable powered converter box that will give it a longer run time and more usage than the Curt Harness. You will also need the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45554.
I linked two installation videos below. One of the Curt Trailer Hitch and the other on the T-One harness being installed onto your exact vehicle. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach back out to me anytime and I would be more than happy to further assist you in your towing endeavors.
