Outlet Needed To Power The Blue Ox Patriot While The Battery Is Disconnected

So when towing my 2018 ford explorer the manual tells me to disconnect the negative side of the battery. Whaylt would I need for power supply for the blue ox patriot 3? Thank you

You just need the 12 Volt Outlet Kit, 20 amps # RM-9332 to power your Blue Ox Patriot 3 # BRK2019. I highly recommend following Ryan's video below when installing this outlet and cutting off the spade terminal for a ring terminal to hook directly to the battery.

If you want to make disconnecting the battery as easy as flipping a switch then I recommend also installing the Roadmaster Battery Disconnect # RM-766. This disconnect switch will connect to the positive side of the battery but still complete the disconnection that you need to safely flat tow your Explorer. I've attached an installation video for this part as well below to help you with this process.
