Recommended Quiet Crossbars For A 2018 Honda CR-V W/ A Naked Roof

Question:

I have a 2018 Honda CRV with a naked roof. I’m trying to decide between the Yakima Baseline rack system and the Skyline system. Skyline looks much cleaner than the door clamps used by Baseline, but it would cost extra to install the factory roof rails first. I wonder if Skyline is quieter because it doesn’t use door clamps that interrupt airflow? That might help tip the scale for me. Thanks

I went ahead and checked out the Yakima BaseLine and Skyline systems, and it does not appear that either of those are a fit for your 2018 Honda CR-V per Yakima.

Instead, I recommend checking out the:

-Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00425, with the BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y28TR, and the BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers # Y06188 & # Y06189.

These crossbars measure 50" long x 2-3/4" wide x 1-1/8" tall, have a maximum weight capacity of 165-lbs, and is extremely aerodynamic and quiet due to its asymmetrical JetFLow shape.
