Troubleshooting Trailer Light Relays On a 2014 Ford F-250

The relay for the trailer running lights will not close to active the lights

It sounds like you could have a bad relay. After looking up some information about your 2014 Ford F-250, the relays 74, 75, 76 are for trailer lights. The relays should be in the power distribution box in the engine compartment. You cant test them using a circuit tester like # PTW2993.
You will want to check the relays to see if they are operating and if not you can replace the relay (we do not carry the relays). If after replacing the relay you do not have the proper function, then you likely have a larger issue and would want to have your vehicle checked by an auto shop to track down the problem.
