Does Blue Light of Camco Surge Protector # CAM55312 Mean Internal Problem

Camco 55312 how do I know if the surege protection is spent? The blue light is on in the upper left corner does that mean it is no longer good?

The blue light of the Camco Surge Protector part # CAM55312 being on actually indicates that the unit is still working. If it were not coming on that would be an indicator that it is spent.
