Yes, the Kat's Heaters Handi-Heat Magnetic Heater w/ Thermostat # KH1155 will help keep engine block or oil pan heated to help start your 2020 Polaris XP1000 in extreme cold temperatures. The only issue you might have is just fitment depending on the space available and the material used for whatever part you're sticking the magnet to.
For example, if you wanted to stick it on the oil pan but it's made of aluminum you wouldn't be able to get it to stick to it. This magnet heater is 3-5/8" x 2-1/4" so I recommend getting in your engine bay and seeing just how much room you have available and testing for the material type with a magnet you already have.
