Will Hopkins EasyLift Tailgate Assist Scratch Tailgate or Truck When Installed
Question:
is there any way the bar will rub or scratch your paint? also, can you see the bar when the tailgate is closed? do you only have to drill 2 holes?

The Hopkins EasyLift tailgate assist part # 74211 will not scratch or rub your paint. When your tailgate is closed you would not be able to see it either. Only two holes would need to be drilled to install this also.
