The Thule roof rack system is a fit for your 2012 Mazda 5. There are no air deflectors included in the roof rack kit. These can be purchased separately.

The roof rack kit has three components in the system. The 47 inch SquareBars, part # TH712200, are made of galvanized steel and have a plastic coating that prevents corrosion and provides a cushion for your cargo.

The Thule Podium Roof Mounted Foot Pack, part # TH460R, mounts to the roof with pre-installed fixpoints, and required no drilling for installation.

The Thule Fit Kit for Podium-Style Foot Pack, part # THKIT3080, is a custom vehicle specific installation kit that secures the foot firmly to your vehicle's pre-installed mounting points.

For the air deflector I recommend the Thule Fairing for Roof Racks, part # TH82WV. This fairing is 44 inches long and is designed to fit securely to Thule aero, square, or round crossbars. It reduces wind drag, and air noise. This fairing is designed to fit on the front crossbar. The rubber bumpers on the struts protects your vehicles finish.
