Based on what I could find in the online manual for a 2008 Subaru Forester you should be able to flat tow your manual transmission AWD. That being said I highly recommend checking your owner's manual to confirm. Once you have you'll need a few components to do so and I have the following recommendations:
Baseplate: Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX3614.
Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar # e47ZR. This tow bar comes with an adjustable head and shank to help keep your tow bar level. There's also safety cables included so that you won't have to purchase them separately.
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit is a one time installation that will transfer your motorhome's brake and turn signals through the tail lights on your Forester.
Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This portable system requires setup each time but only takes a couple of minutes. It comes with a remote that allows you to see when the brakes are activated in your Forester and adjust the brake sensitivity on the go. It also includes a charge line kit to help keep your battery charged while you tow.
