What Would Cause Only Middle Axle Trailer Brakes of Triple Axle to Function
Question:
I have a triple axel trailer with electric brakes. Both sides on the middles axel brakes are working and Im getting a loud humming. The first and third axels no brakes, what could be causing this?

I would say it's most likely a wiring issue. You'd want to get under the trailer and make sure the brake output circuit wire is ran to all of the brake assemblies and then also grounded properly. Most likely the wiring has made it to the middle axle but some type of short or cut wire is preventing it from getting to the front and rear axles. If you have to do some wiring you'd need to use 10 gauge wire like the part # 10-1-1 which we sell by the foot.
