Recommended 5th Wheel Rails And Hitch For A 2022 Ford F-250 8 Bed W/O Factory Pucks

I am a beginner in the market for a 5th Wheel Toyhauler and I just wanted to verify my research to get started correctly. I have a 2022 F250 CrewCab LongBed without a factory puck system. So, first I would have to purchase and install an aftermarket puck system to the frame and drill the bed holes Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP87FR. Once installed would I have to purchase a puck system adapter and then the hitch or will the BandW Companion, 20K # BWRVK3300 or 25K # BWRVK3305 hook right to the puck system? Thank You!

The Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit for Reese Elite Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP87FR you mention is actually only designed to work with Reese Elite Series 5th Wheels, so it actually won't be compatible with the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw # BWRVK3500-5W you mention.

Instead, since you're interested in the B&W Companion, I recommend going with the:

-Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1116-5W instead.

This installation kit is unique to the B&W Companion # BWRVK3500-5W & # BWRVK3400 and will only with B&W Companion hitches so if in the future you wanted to use a different hitch you'd also need a new set of base rails.

Instead, if you want more variety and not be limited to one hitch, then I recommend installing a set of industry standard rails (ISR) like the Reese Quick-Install Custom Outboard Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # RP56017-53, and going with a different hitch.
