Can I attached this to the end of the tongue on a Malone Megasport trailer so Im able to attach an additional 2foot of tongue length?

The Malone MegaSport Kayak Trailer # MPG535 use 11 gauge(0.120") 2" x 3" steel for the trailer tongue. You will be able to use the Fulton Fold-Away Coupler Hinge Kit # FHDPB230101 as it requires a thickness of 0.120" to 0.188" thick steel. You will need to drill the holes for the
