Reciever Tube Depth from Frame on the Curt Class IV Trailer Hitch for a 1985 Ford F-150
Question:
Hi, What is the distance in inches from the bottom of the frame to the top of the hitch? If an additional spacer kit is needed to install this hitch on my truck, would you please tell me the item number of the kit and the additional cost? My truck is 1985 Ford F150 regular cab, 38 frame, deep step bumper, flareside body.

From the bottom of the vehicle frame, where the hitch will mount, to the top of the receiver tube the distance is 5-1/2 inches. There is no additional spacer kit needed and the Curt Class IV Trailer Hitch, item # 14001, comes with installation hardware included.
