4-Way Flat Vehicle to Trailer Wiring Harness For a Custom Built Electric Jeep

Question:

Hi, I am looking for a kit to adapt my brake light wiring to add trailer lights. This is a custom built electric jeep. They used a lot of standard parts of course. I’m just not familiar with tail lighting connections. I am hoping you have a plug and play solution, or at the least a splice the wire type setup. Do you have a conversion kit that will work?

As it is a custom built Jeep which does not use the factory connectors I recommend using the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT to add a trailer wiring connector. This will give you a 4-way flat connector and rather than connecting in line or have to splice your wiring the sensors attach over the wiring to detect when power is moving through the wires. It then gets its power from the 12 volt battery on your Jeep to send to the trailer lights.
