Recommended Industry Standard Rails for a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500

I am getting a 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 without the puck system from the factory. I need a set of rails that sit inside the bed to mount my 5th wheel hitch on. I would like a set that is easy to install.

To add a set of industry standard rails to your 2023 GMC Sierra 2500 you will want the Curt Fifth Wheel Installation Kit item # C16429-204. This kit fits both the 6-3/4' and 8' bed lengths.

This kit is custom fit and bolts to your Sierra's frame with included hardware. It attaches in pre-drilled holes in your trucks frame. The brackets mount on the outside of your frame to allow for an easier installation.

These industry standard rails will allow you to attach a Curt 5th wheel hitch and any other 5th wheel hitch that fits on industry standard rails like B&W, Draw-Tite, or Reese.

To make towing with a 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Demco 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug item # DM8555002. This harness puts a 7-way connector in the bed of your truck and allows you to keep the one on your bumper. This makes hooking up to your 5th wheel trailer easier and more convenient.
